Granada ... with a slight hitch

The French and I arrived in Granada around 6.30 this evening flying from Paris via Barcelona.

Our first impressions of the Old Town - WOW. And our studio apartment - gorgeous, and in a perfect location.

One slight hitch. No luggage. Our backpacks are somewhere between Paris - Barcelona - Granada - we hope! A little but of a hiccup. Hope they arrive tomorrow! We had nothing - not a toothbrush or change of underwear between us. I don't even have my camera - these few photos tonight are courtesy of Google.

We were not going to let that spoil our first night in Granada. We quickly bought the essentials from the farmacia and underwear and spare t-shirt each from H&M and we're good for at least another day. My camera and all toiletries are in my backpack. And our Alhambra tickets for tomorrow afternoon are in Domi's. Bugger.

But with the essentials taken care of, by 9pm (still early by Spanish standards) we headed straight for the nearest tapas bar! We've enjoyed a fun first night here in Granada's Old Town, despite our missing backpacks. We are optimistic that they will turn up tomorrow. I'll let you know what happens.

Best wishes from me and The French.

Hasta luego.
